Homeowners,

This letter is to advise and remind you of the current billing policies in effect as of January 1, 2007. This letter supersedes any previous correspondence and is meant to be the definitive statement of the billing policies and procedures carried out by your Board of Directors.

Billings will be mailed out on the first of each month, at a rate of $85.90 per household.  Payment, in full, is due by the 25th of each month. This means that a bill received in early January will be due by January 25th. A bill received in early February, will be due by February 25th, and so on. A homeowner will be considered delinquent if the current month’s billings are not received by the 25th of that month. Delinquent accounts will be charged interest at a rate of 1.5% compounded monthly.  Also note that there is a $20.00 charge for each returned check.

Any Account PASE DUE over Three (3) Months ($85.90 x 3 Months= $257.70)plus Interest Will receive a letter and RED door tag indicating they have 30 days to make outstanding account current. At the conclusion of 30 days, water service will be terminated and will be shut off and the Byram Twp. Health Dept. will be notified.

All accounts will incur fees for any certified letters, termination and restatement of water service.

Please make sure your account does not fall above the $257.70 threshold before termination procedures begin.  Hence the following:

To resume water service you will be required to follow this procedure providing this is your first delinquency:

1)      You must make a payment in full plus the $100.00 activation fee. This payment must be made by certified check or money order..

These measures are in place to benefit all of us. As we have an annual commitment to make a timely payment of $90,000 and we cannot afford to be delinquent. Thank you for your continued cooperation.

Sincerely,
