New Business:

1) Meeting with Fred Yorg to go over costs estimated using West Brookwood Unit pricing. Fred estimated an excess of $400,000 needed to be cut from our budget. Plans and bids were reviewed.

2) Suggestion to place options at the end of bid packages to prevent going through another bid package in case bids exceed construction amounts. Hydrants, Generators, Tank Painting Plastic Piping and raising well housing were all included as options in the new bid package

3) Discussion of not replacing copper piping across the road was a suggestion by Fred Yorg. Fred feels copper does not deteriorate and it would be a waste of Association money. Renewal option of services already at ½ inch was also discussed.

4) Fred also suggested using plastic piping instead of ductile iron. This has caused reduction of costs.
